Here’s a refresh of the couples, because it’s easy to forget their dramas and their real partners.
Ben and Christie (swapped with Tyler and Olga).

Justin and Neesha (swapped with Lachlan and Miranda).
Kendrick and Romina (swapped with Aimee and Marcus).

The beach mansion: Ben, Olga, Justin, Miranda, Kendrick and Aimee.
The city mansion: Neesha, Lachlan, Christie, Tyler, Romina and Marcus.
So in the last episode, Lachlan was having a super hard time camping in Darwin without his girl.
I’m actually annoyed with Ro, because she’s going, ‘Oh, Ken can’t sleep in a bed or bedroom with someone, no,’ but then goes and shares a room and bed with Marcus.
Everyone’s also a bit salty because she implies that while she trusts Ken, Aimee is sleazy and would be more opened to sleeping in the same bed as Ken, and maybe some more 😉 and that really gets Marcus and Tyler angry.
She starts crying because she feels that Marcus has attacked her.
Living the dream is the beach mansion over in Port Douglas. They decide to go to a restaurant.
Aimee and Miranda both admit that they were really upset when they got there and were like, “I should be here with my boy.”
Ken says that he’s not comfy being around emotional people. And then he forgets her name. It’s SUUUPER awkward, and he takes a while to remember it.
Aimee says that he has forgotten her name throughout the whole experiment, which proves they’re not connecting.
Oof, Aimee is in the middle of talking, and Ken cuts her off to order another drink.
I’m so sick of Ben, like he’s an absolute ugh.

Ugh.
Then the boys get angry at her for not saying something about what bothers her earlier.
Miranda agrees that she wouldn’t want to say anything because this is the reaction she’s gotten. They try and tell her to tell them to stop with the long jokes and to stand up when things annoy her.
Personally, I want either Jacqui or Guy’s opinion on this (HMU).
Ro leaves for the mo and everyone is throwing wild shade about it and discussing what she said about Aimee, saying it sounded like she was calling her a slut.
Marcus defends it, saying it might just be a language barrier, and if it is, he doesn’t mind.
Ro comes back and is like, ‘What were you guys talking about?’
Marcus tells her, and she’s like, ‘Uh, why? What do you mean?’
Oof, it’s getting really awkward, because she’s going, ‘Oh no, I wasn’t saying she’s a slut or looking for something else. I just think he’s very attractive and she might feel very comfortble around him.’
It’s very uncomfortable, I want to move to Port Douglas.
Thankfully, so does the editing team, so that’s where we’re at.
They’re having a major booze up at home, there’s swimming, there’s dancing, a bit of mooning.
Then, Justin heads home, where Miranda has been asleep for hours on the couch.
He’s super obnoxious drunk and comes in kinda yelling, ‘What are ya doin’ out here?’
She’s like, ‘Sleeping, gtfo.’
He has a full unnecessary conversation with her about why she was on the couch when she would have been more comfy in the bed. He leaves the door open and heads to bed, so she has to get up to close the doors.
Ugh, he’s being the worst in the morning. She comes in to be like, ‘Hey you were the worst last night,’ and he’s like, ‘Um, I don’t deserve this first thing in the morning, like he didn’t disrupt her sleep to discuss their sleeping arrangements.

Miranda’s like, ‘I feel sorry for Neesha if she’s got to put up with this after he’s been drinking. I wouldn’t be with him.’
Guy Vicars turns up in Port Douglas to talk to the couples about how things are going.
Justin talks about waking Miranda up the next morning. Miranda’s like, ‘Yeah it was really annoying,’ and Justin’s like, ‘Ugh.’
Guy’s going, ‘Isn’t this what annoys Neesha?’ and Justin’s like, ‘Ugh.’
The couples are on their way to a national park, and they’re driving in their own cars.
Marcus dreads talking to Ro in the car. Ro brings it up and starts to talk to him about the sitch and what she meant.
Meanwhile, they’re driving in like mud, and water, etc.
Christie goes, “It’s great to be in the serenity” and all I can think is The Castle.

Justin takes Miranda on a cruise to try and clear the air. He tells her that he doesn’t think he needs to apologise, and Miranda’s like, ‘Um, you were a dick. Is this how you treat Neesh?’ and he’s like, ‘???’
It’s super awkward, and he needs to just stfu, like he’s not listening and doesn’t understand what she’s talking to her about.
As usual, I write my recaps as I watch the episode, so there will be spelling and grammar mistakes.
The Super Switch will be back next week. In the meantime, why not catch up with MasterChef?
You can watch all The Super Switch episodes over at southhemitv.com, as well as catch up on this seasons MasterChef.

These people sound vile. Thanks for the recaps, i want to be in the loop, but if I was having to watch this show I would be yelling at the tv and getting myself all worked up 😂

It’s easy to see them like that, and I think there are a couple of people who are pretty terrible, but for the most part, it’s actually a bit of a sad show, because they’re all there for the right reason, but they have a bit of a hard time understanding the real flaws in their relationship.
There are moments I want to yell at the tv tho haha!
